Dance to the sounds of one of Toronto’s finest dance bands - The  Anthony Terpstra Seventet, featuring the incomparable Brian Roman and the glamorous Sparklettes with their intoxicating vocal blend, swingin’ and singin’ hits from the Great  Big Band Era and the best of today.

Guest of  Honor, Internationally acclaimed child rights activist and co-founder of Free The Children, Craig Kielburger, winner of many national and international awards, including The Roosevelt Freedom Medal, and  the World Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child (often called the Children’s Nobel Prize). He is one of the youngest recipients of The Order of Canada. His work has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, BBC as well as many other news and print media.

 April 16th, 2011, marks the 16 year death anniversary of Iqbal Masih, the brave young activist who has inspired so many, to continue the fight against child labour around the world.

In honour of Iqbal Masih's legacy,  Friends Of Iqbal will offer a special promotional price of $50.00   for youth 15 and under.

Friends Of Iqbal is currently supporting Free The Children's Adopt a Village program in Udaipur, in Rajasthan, India. Of the four communities under the program - Pargiyapada, Gayriawas, Berna and Lai Gow - Friends Of Iqbal has been involved over the past three years in the community of Lai. In Lai Gow, Free The Children works closely with indigenous people to increase access to clean water, sanitation facilities, quality health care and free primary education. It also seeks to strengthen livelihoods through alternative income projects involving animal husbandry and goat rearing.
